The original Manual of Orchadacious Plants was originally published in 1887 by James Veitch & Sons. The NZ Odontoglossum Alliance Group were able to reproduce part I - Odontoglossum and part VIII - Oncidium and Miltonia of that Manual under the title of "THE ONCIDIINAE". It is hoped that with this publication, many readers will discover the joys of the species and appreciate the early hybrids which truly were, and still are, the building bricks of our modern hybrids.
