The original Manual of Orchadacious Plants was originally published in 1889 by James Veitch & Sons. The NZ Paphiopedilum Alliance were able to reproduce part IV of that Manual under the original title of "CYPREPEDIUM". It is hoped that with this publication, many readers will discover the joys of the species and appreciate the early hubrids which truly were, and still are, the building bricks of our modern hybrids.
