The aim in writing this book was twofold: to show that cultivation, care and propagation of these plants is not impossibly difficult or prohibitively expensive and, by taking a selection of 94 species from five tribes, to show the vase variety in form, characteristics and colour there is to be found in this fascinating family of plants.
